Website Development progress

My dream is slowly coming alive. The website mockups have been completed and approved by myself and the developers are now creating the HTML. I had a busy period last week where I was reviewing and approving every couple of days which was actually quite fun. I think it’s because I was actually seeing things come together. Now it’s all gone quiet and I am missing that buzz of excitement that came with reviewing the design mockups.

I know that within the next week, things will start ticking along again. The big day for the grand opening of BiziMe is Saturday 30th August. There is still alot of work to do until then but we’re on target for it so far and the excitement is clearly buzzing.

We have colour!

Alas I have worked out how to add colour to the blog. Now I just need to figure out how to get the images up there. Some of you will read this and think that I am a complete dummy but I am quite proud of myself that I am figuring these things out for myself. It means that I am continuing to learn new things.

I have now finished the document that tells the development company about how I want the BiziMe site to look and feel which is quite exciting. It’s starting to come alive for me. I have lots of work to still do before it’s right as I need to work out terms and conditions, policies, suppliers and so much more.

It’s just too bad that my day job gets in the way as I would be able to spend more time on the site but I guess I have to pay the bills somehow.

Have you ever been stuck in a job that you don’t enjoy? Do you sit in the carpark, trying to find reasons for not going into the office? Well that’s me right now.

I am currently working as a Project Manager and I have to say that this is definately not how I want to spend the rest of my working life. My dream is to be a retailer of all things that appeal to me such as clothes, shoes, jewellery, etc. This is going to be great! Quality products at prices that won’t send you into poverty.

I have ordered the website and my wonderful husband has created the blog. I just need some help to get some colour and pictures up on the blog. Currently permissions are preventing me from adding some colour and the BiziMe logo to the blog.
